Countryside Birthday

I made this card for my daughters boyfriend for his birthday.  He will be late getting it as his birthday was on Aug 22.  This is the first time I have tried something like this and although I am not entirely satisfied with it its not bad.  I will have to practice some more with this technique.  This is all SU except for copics that I used to color the image.
Hope you enjoy looking at this and if you have any comments please let me know.  I would appreciate any helpful ideas on how to better do this type of card.
Thanks Marla

This is shown with retired product however I have never made it with the paper shown here.  I have made both cards and 3 scrapbook pages from this Planner and have really enjoyed all of them.

Greeting Card Kids

Had some fun today with my new stamp set. The first card I tried to use up so old Non SU paper and try the distressing. Not really sure that I like it. I think it needs a little something.
The second card is using Old Olive and Holiday Treasures DP. The ribbon is like felt and came in a three some last year.
I am wanting to do a Christmas SAS and would like any comments that you have. Any ideas on how to make them better. Anything as I have never done one before.
Thanks for looking.

Unfortunately this card is not SUO the designer paper was from Imaginations.
I really thought that the barn board appearance of this paper was good for this image.
I made this card using the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers called Faux Bleaching. This is the image I got after I iron off the embossing from the original. I actually like it better than the original stamped image.
I really enjoyed making this card and hope that my nephew enjoys it as well.

Rainy Day in Central Albert

Well it is a rainy day today so hope to get down to my craft room and get some cards made. My wonderful mother-in-law paid me $40.00 for thirteen cards I made. Isn't she wonderful. Now I can buy more things that I need lol.

Well I am going to clean up and then get stamping
